The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology oversees two international student mobility programs as integral components of the ‘Emancipated Learning-Emancipated Campus ('Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka' (MBKM)) initiative. Both programs include the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) for undergraduate students and the Indonesian International Vocational Student Mobility Awards (IIVOSMA) for vocational students.

The Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) is a scholarship program initiated by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to support Indonesian students participating in mobility programs at renowned universities abroad. This initiative allows Indonesian students to study for one semester at globally recognized institutions.

While, for the Student Mobility Program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Islam Riau, it has been implemented in various programs, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders, including;

  • 58 FISIPOL students participated in student exchange programs at various campuses across Indonesia. This includes 3 students from the Public Administration program, 15 from the Business Administration program, 21 from the Political Science program, 14 from the Criminology program, and 15 from the International Relations program.

  • 7 FISIPOL students participated in the Campus Teaching (Kampus Mengajar) and Community Service or Program, engaging with various schools.
